Registration

Before registering, visit the page for the activity you want to register for (under ACTIVITIES on the top menu) and get as much information as you can, especially the appropriate team to register for and the fees. SJA is prepared to facilitate participation of all parish youth. Please contact us if you need assistance with fees. Open registration is limited to St. John the Baptist parishioners and students of Padre Pio Academy. If neither case applies, contact the athletic director before registering; exceptions are made on a case by case basis. You may wish to read our Covid-19 Notice.

Player and Parent must read and agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations in the St. John’s Athletics Association Player-Coach-Parent Handbook and Code of Conduct. There is an acknowledgment at the back of the handbook. This is an “e-signed” acknowledgement, so please make sure to read and understand it.

Uniform Responsibility and Care - Uniforms belong to SJA and are loaned as part of the registration fee. Please download the care instructions and make best efforts to prolong the life of our uniforms.

Waivers of Liability are an unfortunate fact of life in the era we live in. SJA is an all-volunteer organization. Good faith efforts are always made to adopt and enforce the best policies to serve as well as protect our youth participants, nevertheless parents must accept the unavoidable and necessary risks, on behalf of their minor children, associated with participation.

  1. Standard waiver: A standard liability waiver for participation

  2. Two-deep leadership waiver: specifically addresses parent responsibility when a Virtus certified assistant coach has not volunteered for a team.

  3. Covid-19 waiver

Electronic Waivers: During registration parents will be required to e-sign the waivers electronically. The buttons at left should be used to download the PDF files of the waivers for your records.

Add registrations for each participant to the cart.  You will be prompted for each child's information (e.g. name, DOB, etc.) with each separate registration. When done, click the cart to begin the checkout process. 

Sibling discounts: If you are registering more than one child, then use promo-codes as follows:

  • Registering 2 kids: $10, promo code = TWO-KIDS

  • Registering 3 kids: $20, promo code = THREE-KIDS

  • Registering 4 kids: $30, promo code = FOUR-KIDS

  • Registering 5 kids: $40, promo code = FIVE-KIDS

  • Registering 6 kids: $50, promo code = SIX-KIDS
